The Moderna vaccine. So far, no side effects whatsoever. We will get the second shot in 30 days.

Getting the first Monday, second supposedly in two weeks
It ain't the side effects of the vaccine that has me scared. It is the idea of someone jabbing a hollow steel tube into my precious muscle mass and squirting some stuff into my body.
It ain't the stuff they inject that bothers me it is the telephone pole diameter hollow steel tube the length of a drill pipe section, and about as sharp, that bugs me.
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 😉
What color was the KoolAid??
I don’t know. I couldn’t watch.
Good thing needles never bothered me. I'm a 21-gallon blood donor. That's 168 pints, for the record. (I'm actually over that number because some donations were outside the Red Cross system and not recorded. Another gallon maybe.) I was at the point where I could have done the insertion myself without qualms.
Where did you recieve it? At work? I havent heard a darn thing about where and when Ill get one.
Ours are arranged thru work and administered by the County Health Dept. We deal with an average of 900-1000 people a day coming thru at work so we were put on “The List”. (No doubt I’m on a number of other ‘lists’ as well.)
My wife is an RN regularly caring for covid patients, and isn't planning to get it anytime soon. She's not alone either, too many unknowns.
So far the first shot is not that bad, its the 2nd round when things can get rough. Have your quarantine plan ready to go, just in case. Several employees have come down with it shortly after shot 2. 💉
My family will get vaccinated when given the opportunity.
I have had Yellow Fever, the Plague & Anthrax series all courtesy of Uncle Sam.
This isn’t even the same as a flu shot.
My wife and I are signed for the next batch that comes in, probable about a week.
Any craving for BRAINS?

Wow, you've got me by 2x. I quit donating after I had LYME disease.
Good for you Jimdeer! What retirement home got you in line early?🤣
Some of the officers at out local PD got the shot yesterday. One of 'em got so sick he had to call in sick for today. Another reported feeling 'out of sorts' for the rest of the day.
I think I'm gonna wait for a bit and see how it plays out.
I got my first dose at the VA yesterday.
It uses a tiny diameter needle. I literally did not feel it go in.
