I'll be watching that 28 for sure. I be wantin' me an N frame 357, but I just don't seem to ever have the coin. I have a couple of K frames, but have wanted one of the big bruisers for a long time.
I won't likely take that 28, but I kicked it up a bit for you Ricci. If I don't win send cookies.
Very nice Ricci!
I am looking golden so far.
You just got kicked out.☺️
PLEASE!! Whatever you guys do, please do not get into a bidding war.
They are very nice.
doing good
one of the rare times having guns and being a dealer is good nothing like a panic buy and sellers market
I hope you do well on all of them
My first .357 was a Mdl 28 6". I shot it so much the top strap was about 1/3 eaten through. I would shoot a coffee can full of .357 mags with a 158 cast bullet and 6.0 grains of Unique in an afternoon while sitting in a lawn chair. I shot at every target possible from 10 to 500 yards just to see if I could hit it. I also loaded 110 JHP's so hot the muzzle/ cylinder blast at night was the size of a basketball. I had to pound the empties out. It was the top load in the old Speer manual so I figured it was safe. Now, looking back it was not such a good idea....
I traded it in, losing about 30 bucks from my buy price on a BEAUTIFUL Mdl 27 that I had for many years.
Just helping out. Or maybe I have a budget...
Sure have enough 357 but took a shot at it anyway . Like the smiths !
GLWS I hope you do better on the 657 then I recently did. A nice 6" didn't hit my expectations but I guess selling before Christmas wasn't the best timing. The buyer got a good deal so there's always that. lol I've always liked the 28. The poor man's 27. I currently have one being engraved. The finish was ruined so no collector value lost, before someone crys.
