States have made the criteria for who can receive the COVID vaccine so strict that thousands of does have had to be thrown out because they couldn't find enough people that met the criteria. The penalties for administration outside of the criteria were so strict practitioners had to throw the doses away rather than be prosecuted.
Our government is full of idiots with huge opinions of their own self importance.
