Photo Hosting Sites

I apologize if this is old hat, but it's been years since I've listed on Gunbroker and I'm finding the photo hosting world a changed beast. Any recommendations for compatible (simple) hosting sites? I used to use Photobucket and could add tons of quality photos to a listing, but not sure I like them now. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

    Put them on your computer and then you can transfer them right to Gunbroker or wherever you want.

    Photobucket, or Botophucket as Rocky calls them is Kaput. I use Imgur. But you can load them up straight from your computer from the "pictures" section.


    Just click on the little "picture" icon at the bottom of the screen.

    Imagur is flat out stupid. If you post anything they don't like (they are rabid anti Trump) something you post they will ghost ban you.

    I can't believe they misspelled "Pork and Beans!"

    Welcome back!

    There is no reason to use a photo hosting site anymore.

    The simple method as pointed out above is to store your photographs on your laptop or desktop computer. You do not have to use your hard drive space for storage. Just get an inexpensive thumb drive to use just for your auction pictures. You can even remove the thumb drive from your computer, protecting those photos from potential or accidental loss.

    I do suggest though that you look into getting some sort of photo manipulation program. There are really good ones which are free and easy to use. You can crop out the annoying feet that show up in your down shots on the carpet. You can color correct some of the oddities from light sources and reflected color. But the most needed and useful is re-sizing your pictures for posting, either on your auction or on the forums.
