Like everything else in shooting sports, it depends on what you need and are sensitive to using. Everyone has a different feel with triggers especially when it come to longer ranges and accuracy. Experience also has a bearing on your choices. Shooters new to competition will often run a drop-in trigger with no adjustments while others choose the military style 2-stage triggers for the adjustability. Nowadays though you can get the drop-in style which are adjustable as well.
I run several different manufacturers depending on my need.
Geissele SSA-E
Velocity MPC
Trigger Tech TT-AR15
I have others on my bench which I will switch in and out of rifles as I search for the right combination.
Best.
have you tried the trigger tech diamond out?
I missed this earlier, sorry.
Yes. I've switched one in and out of my PRS gas gun competition rifles. I think it's one of the best for being just a little lighter than most other AR15 triggers. It's two-stage which I like but if you aren't used to them, they take a tiny bit to get used to. Nothing big just a slightly different feel.
I'm in the process of using more Tigger Tech for bolt action rifles also. They are significantly better than Jewell.
Best.
I run Geissele or CMC triggers in AR’s.
But Im not really an AR guy.
That was my biggest thing I love the two stages because deep down I'm a Mauser fan boy and the lower puller weight is quite a bit lighter I like the lower pull weight so that it just makes that interface between you and the rifle that much more precise. I'm so spoiled by the hair triggers in old lever guns so when I first used my milspec I was immediately turned off so I ended up getting a timney targa which was very nice but just not the super small glass rod snap I'm looking for so hopefully once the timney sells I can upgrade to the diamond. I've heard their anti creep design is super minty!!!
