Raleigh NC today No ammo on the shelf except a couple boxes of 28 gauge steel shot . NO powder in reloading area . Fewer than 10 boxes of bullets of various calibers . Gun selection good with 1 box ammo available with purchase of gun. According to clerk no primers in the last three months .

Also checked in to a regional large gun shop ,Perrys guns in Wendell . Gun inventory way down less than 1/4 usual amounts . I.e. 6 ar style rifles when usually 20 to 30 . Only two used long guns in store . Inventory varied on ammo .most pistol calibers present but limits on how many you could buy . Same for rifle . No limit on shotgun shells but sizes were limited . Powder was available but types limited . Price were were almost double usual rates with a lb of red dot at $44.95.All powders were similarly priced Buy 5 lbs of powder and get a brick of primers for $75.00 . Having just spent $350.00 on powder I passed on this wonderful deal . Did buy some pyrodex and muzzleloader caps for my 1851 colt
