Today it is loaded mashed taters, brownies and fried chicken....we are unfortunately going to memorial service and helping with the dinner at church afterwards.....
Tonight it's pan fried trout. Several specimens of Brown, Rainbow, and Brook, all range from 8" to a couple in the 11-12" lengths. The Spring season gets underway here in Michigan the last Saturday in April and I need to eat up my frozen stash! 😋 I always catch em, clean em, and freeze em in a water filled freezer bag within minutes of getting home from the creek. Several are consumed as English breakfasts the day after caught and not frozen.
I may just have to crack a few beers to give those fishies a wet sendoff down my gullet.

Yesterday was one of those days. Was so busy doing honey doo's that when dinner time rolled along, nothing was prepared or planned ahead.
Heated up a can of Campbell's Chunky Clam Chowder and boiled a few hot doggies.
My critique on the chowder would change its name to Clam flavored Potato Soup! 🙄
Not going to complain though! Many starving folks would consider stealing to get such a meal.
Gonna fry some chicken breasts and make sandwiches, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, pickles and mayo on a hamburger bun... and BEER!

Made beef jerky in the smoker all day (excuse to drink beer, not that i need one...) Had chilli dogs and beer for dinner.
