Pretty much the way I do most of mine.
I was just looking at that one last night.
2- Questions
1) If I live in California can I buy this item?
2) Does it have the original box?
Californians READ - Sorry to be really gruff - Because I always get this questions - NO bids from California or any other Communist area that does not allow these (period)!!! I will not gunsmith or change out anything - I am not qualified.... my attorney 100% advises against it. Please do not ask. Nor will I ship it to another location....
Sorry to sound gruff but since June I had 6 auctions that people from California won and could not own the firearms so I am charged Gun Brokers fees:
Sorry no sales of any firearms.... to the Communist State of California. OR any other area that does not allow them!
Sorry no sales of any firearms.... to the Communist State of California. OR any other area that does not allow them!!
Sorry no sales of any firearms.... to the Communist State of California. OR any other area that does not allow them!!!
If you win this item and it is not legal in your jurisdiction, you will be charged our listing/final value fees, plus a 20% restocking fee!!!! I am serious!!!
UPDATE - Since I wrote the above in August 2020---------------------------------
Now for the Grumpiest Old Man stuff - I have had 40+ people thought the above was spot on or at the least humorous. And 2 grumps from California, blame your officials, not me. Call your FFL they will explain the local laws to you. I can't believe I have to write this with the above - Appears many Californians did not pass reading as I have collected:
$74.62 from California gun winner #4,
$186.92 from California winner #5 and
$354.13 from California winner #6.
All from California. So hey IF you California folks, wanna keep sending my your money for nothing....that is your choice. Keep bidding/winning my auctions. You cannot own most firearms in California, I did not make the rules, your leaders did! VOTE the SOB's out of office. I will take your money. As Gun Broker sure charges me... OR IF you chose not to pay - leave an F on feedback and Gun Broker will block your account for non-payment.
Other locations - Sadly, many states, cities, counties or even municipalities have placed restrictions on what their citizens can and can not purchase. If you live in California, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Hawaii, Cook County Illinois, Chicago, Washington DC or New York City chances are you can not legally purchase many of the items we sell. Please know your State, city or local laws before you place a bid. Please call YOUR FFL, if you’re uncertain before you place a bid. I have no knowledge over the laws in 50 states and OVER 400 major municipalities. We reserve the right to refuse to ship an item/items to you if we believe doing so is in violation of your laws. You WILL be charged 20% restocking fee PLUS all Gun Broker fees!!!
The 63 he has is awesome......
You would be surprised how much that happens. I work semi part time in one in my area and just being there a small amount of time I witnessed several guns brought in by relatives of deceased owner and "I want to get rid of these guns" Ok, owner gives fair wholesale and all are happy. One lady came in with a British Tower with belt hook and 1rst gen Colt 45 and said could she get 300 out of these? Owner treated her right and again all happy.
That's a nice Luger and has some very nice items there.
Do you think that maybe our opinions are a bit swayed since we all like guns? How much effort would you do if your mom passed away and left you 100 purses that you knew nothing about, and didn't want, would you research each one of them to see how much you could make, or would you just get rid of the headache? Food for thought
Me?? I would research them. The interweb makes things pretty easy if you are willing to spend a little time. I spend lots of hours on the web and in my firearms library, modest though it be, researching what I sell. It pays off.
Agree 100% Ricci. However, there are many people, that if not interested in something, want nothing to do with it.
I had a man bring me two rifles with scopes a few years ago. Told me his dad died and his wife wanted them out of the house. If they weren't worth anything just throw them out. A month or so later I wrote him a check I think for around four thousand dollars. Two Remington 40x's a Unertl scope, and a nice old Redfield 16X target scope.
Conversely, don’t leave it to your family to sell your stuff without specific instructions.
