Has it been hard to find 12 gauge 00 buck lately? Found a store that had boat load of it yesterday, price seemed normal. Always preferred #4 buck myself. Thought maybe I would pick up a few box’s .
What I would really like to find is some 410 3” shotgun shell in #4 or #6 shot. I still like to rabbit hunt.

Very difficult to find in my area (Central Florida). I ended up trading 9mm for 00 buck.
Frankly, if I could locate any ammunition in any caliber- whether or not I had a gun chambered for it, at "normal" prices, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
Pick it up when you find it. It'll be gone tomorrow!🤨😁
Best.
[sarc]Make sure you buy all they have, so everybody who needs it can complain about there not being any.[\sarc]
Who would have thought that the loss of green type would be felt so deeply.😪
Best.
None around here.....
hard find anywhere they may have got there back order buy it
I bought ten boxes of Federal a few months ago to add to my stash. Someone gave me a box of 25 S&B OO the other day. They are translucent, that means clear Ken. You can see the buckshot.
Yep
At this point in southern, IL. there is nothing to be had of any caliber. I put in half day working at gunshop mostly fielding calls saying no, we don’t have any. And NO, I don’t know when any will be in.
Buy all you can, keep what you want and list the rest on GB, you'll likely pay for your entire purchase and make a tidy profit.
Get it while the gettin's good.
OK, I took your advise, just got back with enough to last me quite awhile. They still had about 75 box’s left. I live in western Illinois, close to the town of Monmouth. That is where I bought it. I won’t name the store I bought it at, as I think that would be against the rules here on Gunbroker, (Advertising) but there is only that store in town that sells guns and ammunition.
from what little I have read and seen on you tube even shotgun rounds are gone no matter the shot size and 00 buck was the first t go
I was at out local wally world last week sure enough two boxes of 28 ga shotgun shells and a couple boxes of 17 rim fire every thing else was gone went to a some what local "farm store " 25 miles away that sells guns and ammo same thing gun rack and display cases almost empty especially ammo and a line to buy what they did have
I have noticed 00 buck on the internet is also scarce and bringing in more $$
I think I have about 100 rounds I bought 2 years ago on some PSA special daily deal
from what I have gathered if you see it buy it regardless of the caliber which does not help the shortage or demand but people are a bit leery of what is about to happen
like stated you could sell it and make a few $ after selling fees and of course shipping which is the big ouch
Sure glad I bought a couple of cases of 00 years ago when it was on sale cheap. I'm hanging on to all ammo I have now an into the foreseeable future...........the thing I wish I had more of is .22LR.
I am positive I will not run out of 22lr when old big ears took office I had 25 rounds of if serious that was it .. so I did make up for it seeking out deals on the internet and friends picking up a box or two for me when they found it at stores
all the rest of it a bit questionable at last years rate of shooting I will have a lifetime supply , but back up another year and we went thru thousands of 223(5.56) and 308, 9mm and 45 acp and assorted other flavors in the back yard with family and friends when we would have our ammo wasting mag dump get togethers last year we skipped them not sure about this year not looking good
I did think about selling off part of the 22lr due to demand but its not eating any thing and in dry storage sealed ammo cans with dry packs tossed in my become good trading stock real soon
I still have about 100 rounds of 00 I got from our esteemed member from North Dakota.
