I won my first auction and paid for it on January 21, how long does it usually take to have any correspondence from the seller or to expect a notice of shipment? My FFL got the notice from Gun Broker the night of the sale but I haven't had any response from the seller themselves. I'm just wondering if this is normal?

I would think it depends on who the seller is. If it's a FFL, I would think you should have heard by now. If it's a private seller, well this seller probably has a full time job and other responsibilities but I would think another 2 days might be reasonable. Others may disagree with me.
5 days or I would be on the phone. Yea, I know you don't want to hurry" them" up but to have a no issue transaction, they SHOULD contact you.
He should have contacted you within five days, which is the maximum time suggested by Gun Broker:

(Look down near the bottom of the page under the heading of: "I won! Now what?"
I'd give him a call tomorrow.
Thanks for the advice folks, I will call him tomorrow, he still has lots of items up for auction and I checked with the credit card company and verified he had been paid.
2 questions:
Did you check your spam folder?
Did your FFL forward his FFL to the seller?
Lots of messages get sent into spam boxes. They are there but no one thinks to check them.
I like SPAM though, browned and in a sammich.
Yes on both.
SPAM is a staple at our house! I eat it fried and right out of the can!
Some sellers never contact buyers..expect the goods arriving anytime
I would call to make sure they received the FFL, it could be in their junk folder.
Some sellers with a lot of feed back and has payment set up through the GB check out system I'll go ahead and pay, contact the receiving FFL to send their information, then write the seller an e-mail letting them know what I've done and asked for a tracking number when it ships. But most purchases I write the seller to let them know the receiving FFL has been notified, will be sending their information, and clarify final payment amount (though I know what it should be) before I send money order payment. If I call to make payment over the phone then I discuss it at that time. I don't send payment until I hear from them. Generally no contact means no payment, I've never had a problem, though some seller have taken a few days to get back with me.
I made contact with the seller, everything is fine, gun is in the capable hooves of the United Packmule Service.
Thanks for all the replies!
Good, I hope you enjoy it.
First, I see nowhere to start a new topic??? so I'll just piggyback here
I sent a seller a message but have not got a reply. I see nowhere that says messages??? If I get a reply will it just come up "you have a message"???
Okay, never mind I just checked my email and it's in there. Newbie mistake.
Would still like to know how to start a topic in the forums though. Thanks.
Green tab on right side that says "New Discussion"
Did you write to ask a question before bidding/buying or have you already won the auction? Either way check your in box and your junk box for a reply. If you haven't bid/ bought yet and don't get a reply let that be a lead for if you pursue the item further. For me no reply no bid.
Right top of screen un der "NEW DISCUSSION". I missed it also and well there it was.😑
Scouts- before, thanks
Grasshopper- I see it now, thanks lol
