That or PETA and Sierra Club, with plenty of help from the media, will declare ground hog day as cruel to groundhogs for some ridiculous reason.
well a few years back the governor or mayor do not recall which one did drop the Groundhog while on TV for the event

The orig. movie with Bill Murray was filmed in Woodstock, Il. Not too far from here. House that was used in the movie still stands just as it was shown in he movie!
The year 2020 was a remake of that darn movie!
