I seen a sale where Winchester High brass 20ga 1 oz #6 shot sold for, with shipping added, 47 dollars a box. That doesn't count sales tax. Some people have lost their freaking minds.

i bought a box of a hundred 1oz #5 shot for $36.00 locally last weekend
Yep, 7-10 dollars a box (25) would be normal with 12-14 dollars if you bought at the corner grocery in a small town.
gotta remember anything more than one box is an arsenal now.............
Paid $90 for a case of federal 12 gauge last week
Good friend asked me to find him a 20 gauge 870 slug barrel. I did, 200 and change, get on the way his reply. I then proceeded to ask him if he had any 20 gauge slugs, "no but I will pick some up at wallfart. No you won't and if you do find any they will be 4.00 plus a round. He said hold up on the barrel for now. That was last in the last part of November 2020.
When I was a kid, Dad would not let me buy another box of shells for the old 20 ga until I only had less than 5 shells left.
I think this scarred me for life and turned me into an ammo hoarder.
I was talking to a buddy the other day about how we used to buy a box of shells when we were about half way through the box we had.
