What is the longest time you have stayed in your home?
I don't know the answer to that question, because when I stayed home with two infants and a 7 year old that time was a blur and I'm sure I was pretty immobile for long periods of time.
This past week my car has been in the shop fixing a ding in the bumper. I dropped it off last Monday. I have gone to get lunch for everyone down the road because nobody else wanted to go so when it came time everyone was pushing their keys at me trying to get out of going themselves. I'm not "stuck" really because I can drive the Camaro...but its not really a grocery getter and I don't like being out with a bunch of guns in that one (just in case something happens.) Its just odd for me to not have 11 things pulling at me all at once.
Staying home is a nice change of pace from my normal schedule, but its not like I'm just here....doing nothing. I am "at work" so things are getting done. I did re-pot a house plant and I've tackled that closet of nonsense my son left (just like Mark said I would.) I think I'm a little too rested really. I've gone on ahead and put a pie in the oven......because why not cap this respite off proper!

Eleven days when I was recovering from the neck surgery. I never stepped foot out of the house. But during that time shuffling the 10 paces to the bathroom with the walker was agony enough.
I do not recall the length of time couple weeks + at least but it seemed like forever just after I had bypass surgery if it could go wrong it did with me on that one
I retired seven years ago, I would say I go a week to ten days and never leave the property now is not uncommon
when I met my wife 40 some odd years ago my future FIL was already some what old he seldom went off the property maybe grocery shopping every couple weeks, me being young fellow that was unimaginable to me how could anyone want to just be content and stay home .. well now I am getting old and kinda see his side of it 😁
( RIP Glen )
2 months for me.
4 days, with pneumonia.
Maybe 10 days.
About a week when I had my hip replaced.
With or without the ankle bracelet.....
Today makes one week without going anywhere other than running up the road to the Jacks drive through for everyone's lunch and the BBQ place another day. I bet they have me drive one of their cars and get today's too.....its a nice little break really, so I don't mind. Staying home isn't bad....it has been a nice break really (even though I have been working every day.)
Not sure about the longest period of staying in the house, but next month, March, will make 1 year since I have eaten a meal outside of my house.
I spent two weeks in my bathroom one night.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Since 1976 been in our homes
The full length of the David Koresh deal in Waco.
had a big reconstruction knee surgery the day before and snow was 3-4’ in the yard. Got Dr approval to get out and about on crutches the day after Janet Reno lit them up.
only got two channels on tv, so it was a long convalescence

21 days........Freshman year of college....driving back from Thanksgiving break....Burst appendix somewhere along the way...headed to the hospital the next day...surgery and then 8 day in the hospital. Got out took my finals and went home.
Infection set it and when I went to the doctor I must of come across some one with the flu....I was out of it for the next 21 days. I went from 210 to 149 pounds by the time I got well enough to get out and about again...
About a week later, I was back for 2nd semester....
Eleven days last summer following my knee replacement. It got infected and I had to immobilize it for over a week . The surgeon did house calls to monitor my progress
Probably around this pass Christmas, got the China-Virus, I would guess about 10 days. Drove me nuts, even nutter that I am ;)
I guess I haven't actually spent 2 months in the house, but I have spent 2 months without ever leaving the property.
