Interesting twist on the ammo/hazmat discussions......

Since there has been so much discussion about shipping ammo and such lately, I thought that I'd share a little bit of info I learned this morning. Ammo can be shipped non-hazmat, properly labeled as a consumer commodity by a regular individual....except to Alaska. I just sold some ammo to a guy in Alaska and we are working thru this..

Oh yes, I have legally shipped ammo in the past. We however, have a shipping place in town called United Package Express. I have found that it is just about as cheap to have them ship as it is to make the 20 mile trip to the UPS hub and back.

You have the same issue with Hawai'i. Ammo is shipped by GROUND. And the bridges to Alaska and Hawai'i are closed for repair.....
