I have both and most of the time I take the 35 out hunting more often.
The Hornady leverloutions really helped the 35
I always thought I wanted a 35
just never got one
Ammo may be a big problem for it now. I stocked up quite a bit about 5 years ago so I think I'm good till the end of my hunting days
Years ago I had Marlin in 35. I'm always thinking about getting another one but haven't, yet.
I had two marlins years ago never really hunted with them one in 30-30 and a 35 the 35 I had never heard of until I got one in a trade . now there just two more I wish I had kept ..
I have shot and hunted with both. I like a 30-30.
That said the 35 Rem is a great cartridge too.
The 35 Rem is my choice. Rem 08 and 81 autoloaders were ahead of their time.
