Shipping an AR 15 to California

I was wondering if it would be possible to buy an AR 15 through the gunbroker auction website and have it shipped to an FFL here in California?
The problem is that the rifle isn't CA legal. However, would it be possible to have it shipped if all the non compliant parts were modified before shipping it?
I'm currently interested in a Springfield Saint Victor.
Something like this.
I'm aware that in order to own one it needs to be featureless so that would mean a fixed stock, no pistol grip, no vertical grip, 10 round mag and no flash hider. If the seller took all of those and made it legal could I get it through my local FFL?
Thanks.

The regulations are long and convoluted. Short answer is that the rifle in question must arrive in CA already fitted with all of its non compliant features. Neither you or your dealer can add or remove the various features upon receipt of the rifle.
Did you contact the seller? His listing clearly states:
All State laws apply, It is buyer’s responsibility to know state and local laws. Please check your laws before bidding. Residents of California, New York, Maryland, or District of Columbia, Hawaii Or any others, Contact us before bidding to insure legality of the transaction. Were okay with shipping there, it just has to be legal.
See if he'll work with you on modifying the rifle.
I see a problem with asking your vendor to jump through all those hoops just to sell one rifle. I wouldn't do it.
The other problem is, as I understand it, for a firearm to be legal for sale in the PRK, it has to be on a list of approved guns.
Good luck!
In your position, I would visit my LGS (Local Gun Store) & talk to them. After all, you will ultimately end up using them to transfer to you any gun that you buy. They wouldn't be in business if they weren't very knowledgeable in CA gun laws. They will tell you exactly what you can buy, & what you can't. They will also be able to order CA legal guns from their distributor, although they may be backlogged now.

Not a chance in hell the seller would do that. IMO only. Use the above good advice.
Based on his advert it seems he has some flexibility. It may be worthwhile to contact him and discuss. Some FFLs will send to an intermediary FFL (often AZ based) who will then make the gun CA legal and ship. Problem with that is that after you get done with shipping rework and shipping again - not to mention the CA FFL transfer fee, which on out of state items can easily run +$100.00 plus DROS, tax. I'd be looking for a LGS that knows their stuff. Which, unfortunately, many do not. But with a bit of looking you'd likely find one.
Thanks for all the replies. They helped a bunch. Believe me when I say I'd rather buy one where I am but everything's out of stock here except for m&p sport ii's.
