I hate this time of year.

Agreed
I see nothing but delaying the taxes this yr because of Covid19. It has delayed everything else.
Your Government loves and cares about you. Just ask Nancy Pelosi as she eats $20.00/ pint ice cream from a $25,000 freezer.
I sure feel great knowing my Elected have our nation forefront in their minds.
Yes I have been getting things together this week and will hopefully get it all to the accountant next week.....
UGH......we have been plugging everything in and my tummy will be doing flip flops for the next few weeks until they give me the numbers. This time of year is always a nightmare.
Every year I tell myself I'm going to get an early start, and every year I put it off until about 3 days before the deadline.
Might need to deduct all the ammo I have purchased for security . Where is the green font
delay.....delay...and delay. You can file extensions forever. Or just not file............LOL
The wife did ours yesterday. Glad they’re done!

Story on both Fox and Breitbart of her making a rule every member must pass thru a metal detector before going into session or face a 5K fine. Several GOP members were fined, yet she goes around the detector and say its alright. Sickening
I am retired, easy come, easy go. I just wish we could travel.
I'm not looking forward to doing mine this year. With the poker tournament win last year I may need to file as a part time professional gambler.
I'll be filing an extension like I do every year... then actually get it done this summer...
I spent a great deal of time in NJ and had friends there. One had a 1200 SqFt home near Ft Dix and his property taxes were a whopping 7K a year and another living in rural NJ with a 2000 SqFt home in rural NJ and was paying as staggering 1K a month. When they retired, they left with great haste. His state taxes eclipsed his monthly mortgage, insurance, and all utility payments.
Here in VA, we have personal property taxes on vehicles. My 1985 Ford F-150 has an outrageous annual tax bill. 38 cents. Costs them more to mail me the bill.
