Just got taken.
I can't even believe I am writing this but I think I was taken last night by a fraudster. I found the rifle I was looking for on Gunbroker and I was willing to fork over the $1540 to a seller. Everything appeared to be on the up and up and lo and behold I find out after sending many emails to the seller re: Bill of Sale needed and contact info for the FFL etc. that the person appears to be a fraud. Gunbroker verified this just a few minutes ago. I have contacted PayPal to see if I can have the transaction voided. I am amazed that a fraud could sell on Gunbroker as I thought sellers were vetted. This is leaving a bad taste and I want to be made whole again if possible. Have to see what happens with PayPal. I wonder if there are any other remedies that you folks could recommend?

If Paypal finds out you purchased a gun they can and will freeze your account, Never use paypal for guns or ammo, it is in the agreement you signed, if you have any money with them you better pull it all out before you complain about a gun purchase, This forum is not the place to get help for things on the auction side. Sorry to hear, but I'd say your probably out the money you paid.
Yep..Not posting on here because complaints will be locked. Quit using Pay Pal...it is not your friend.
