Serial Number help for MAB Modele D Cal 7.65

I have a MAB Modele D Cal 7.65. The serial Number is D3xxx (x is only to show a place holder). I have search for information to find the year this MAB was made and which French Department used it. Since it has a letter and 4 digits I believe it was made after WWII. I have found an example was BFXXXX for Bank or France. Please can anybody tell me where to find the information or help me discover the history of my MAB. Thank you

    I have never run across any serialization info, for Mab pistols? That Ian guy who has the gun channel on U Tube. Is very knowledgeable on French firearms, as he collects them. Send him a e-mail with photos of your MAB. He might be able to date it for you?
