Disappearing emails

I use mail.com
When I receive an email from the GunBroker system... I open it... if I close it, it's gone.. forever... not in Trash WTF!
I have started moving the emails to a Savebox before opening them... seems to work.
This is ONLY GunBroker emails... no other emails do this.
Has anyone experienced this?

I use mail dot com and have never ever experienced this.

I'm not familiar with that email system, but if it has settings to only list unread mail in your inbox, it would make sense for an email to "disappear" after opening and I wouldn't look in the trash, I would look for a folder or a setting to show "read" or "all" emails, but if it is truly as you say only emails from GB, then that's weird...
Look in email / Security / Mail Security, try turning off the Spam Protection, or try Resetting the Text Pattern Profiler.
Spam tools want to be smart and attempt to learn, but sometimes they make wrong assumptions and you gotta start over.

What happens if you move the email directly to SAVE and then open it?
It remains in save...
Believe me I've looked in spam folder.. trash folder.. archive... they vanish. I get upwards of 70 emails a day... this is a first.
If I reply... I will find the chain in my 'reply' box... but the email will vanish from my inbox.
