    I just finished the series ADMIRAL on Amazon Prime. It was excellent. I have enjoyed several Russian made movies and series. Many are about WWII and the suffering the Russian people endured with a fatalistic mind set.

    I don't remember asking about Russian TV but I know I've complained about my wife and in-laws turning into potted plants as they sit in front of my TV tuned to Russian station 1. The music specials on the Russian TV, usually on Saturday evenings are very, very good. Most of the rest of Russian programming, with a few exceptions, is very mediocre.

    The absolute worst is Russian Jerry Springer. The Russians rip off any U.S. programming idea and run with it. They don't call it the Jerry Springer show but there is no doubt it is a total rip off of Jerry's show!! Russian Jerry Springer is proof that white trash exists everywhere!! 😁


    Back when Westerns were all the rage the Soviets did a few Western movies. I have seen a couple of these "Westerns" when they are showing old movies. Can you even comprehend an 1880s era "Western" with plastic {I'm not joking!!} cowboy hats?? And how they do Indians, Lord have mercy!!


    My wife will probably like those videos because Russians are even today obsessed with WW II. I've read the figures but I don't remember them but WW II was far, far more expensive in the cost of Russian lives than what the U.S. lost.
