these crazy prices.......
got me thinking, that and the dang cold weather. I haven't done a gun show since 2018 when I retired, I cleaned the gun cabinet out of old scopes, and other odd parts, put few old military rifles on table as I know the kids didn't want them or even care about them, same with few bayonets and such. Well I think it is time again got some old sights, few williams rifle sights that clamp on vent ribs, some ammo I no longer have guns for and even sat down at the reloading cabinet the other day, got lot of old bullets I don't use, had 75 lbs+ of lead shot, divided it up in 5bl bags and some 16ga wads, along with few coffee cans of brass I sorted into baggies of 100, pistol and rifle brass, and 50+, 410 hulls. Not sure how much will actually sell but it will be nice to just get out of house and around gun people again, got table at the Morgantown show 27th of March if anyone is close and wanna stop by and say HI.
been wanting a crossbow and just to cheap to pull the trigger, hoping to make enough off this junk to buy new one and have the summer to practice....

We used to hunt at Jonas Ridge years ago.
Ricci not real familiar with the area, my son lives in Fairmont and teaches at WVU, gonna stay with him for weekend of the show, I live about 2 hours south. Do any good hunting back then? 15-20 years ago deer were like cockroaches, then coyotes moved in and have reduced the herds from 15-20 per group down to 2-3 per group. you can still find them, you just have to look a lot harder.
I will try to make the show. I'm about 45 minutes or so north in Fayette Co, Pa. Might even get me a burger and beer at the Iron Horse.
Wont take all summer to master a crossbow. The way they make them now, you will be amazed after about six shots! Im still shooting an old Horton and it kills the deer just as dead as a new $3000 one.
I misread and thought you were going to Morganton, N.C. not Morgantown, W.V. I caught it when RobOz said he was 45 min. away in Pa.
You'll probably have to put a sign up with your name on it, since we probably won't recognize you with a hair cut.....
What Jimmyjack said, after 6-10 shots you'll be hitting and ruining the bolts in the target.
Many years ago areas near Jonas Ridge and along 181 were the only places to hunt deer. All were government owned and controlled by fish and wildlife. Had checking stations for hunters coming and going. Deer were very hard to find and still are on public hunting lands. Hunting was not safe either. Some folks (city) didn't know deer from humans.
About 30 years ago the Gov decide to release big game all over north western part of NC.
Common to see 25+ every evening around here especially this time of the year. One can hunt off the porch if need be.
Morgantown is a nice show I usually do well when I set up there. Might be there at that time too
let me know if you do...

That's a good one for instance a federal reserve in time of crisis can be liquified? Per say illiquidity in a seizure!
