Michael Jordan's race car team will make its debut today. Bubba Wallace will be driving the car(#23) starting in the 6th spot. If he doesn't win the race is raycist.
I will be watching something else I believe but I hope its a good race and no one gets hurt.

My sentiments aren't as genteel.

Last nights race was a crash fest .
just turned it on to watch a car race or anything about a car race. what i get is a segment about having a conversation with a black man. not what i tuned in for. if i wanted a lecture on human relationships i would sign up for one at the local college. really, i just want to relax in my chair and watch a race.
20 yrs ago Dale Earnhardt lost his life at Daytona. Ironically he got his first start in Cup at the Coca Cola 600 in Charlotte. Humpy Wheeler who was the promoter at Charlotte got death threats from letting Willie T Ribbs a black man.. get a chance to race in the 600. However Willie missed some practice sessions when Humpy Wheeler let him take the Pace Car for a spin. Willie left the track and went downtown Charlotte driving around. He went up a one way street and the Police stated chasing him. Willie jumped out of the car and ran into a gymnasium where a basketball players were practicing. However they were women and he got caught. Dale Earnhardt was asked to drive that day in the Coca Cola 600 for Willie T Ribbs.. and got his first ever ride in the now Winston Cup. Ironically he finished one spot in front of his later car owner Richard Childress.
Politicized sports: Not for me.
FYI: PGA coverage starts at 3PM

Bubba Wallace is the winner.
NFW!
Or, he got 17th and did not finish.
LOL
He is a DNF.
Ford won with Mike McDowell driving.
Cost Michael some money..lovin it.
Yep that did cost Mike some cake. He got a DNF and broke the car really good.
But like they say the best way to loose money is buy a race car.
I am NOT a race car fan at all, although I did watch dragsters in my youth.
But it so happened that the PGA was a lame attempt at entertainment, so I found myself watching this NASCAR fiasco.
"The wild finish was a bookend to a wild start: A 16-car chain reaction accident brought chaos to the race after only 15 of 200 laps on Sunday, and during the ensuing cleanup, a violent lightning storm and rain shower caused a lengthy delay.
Busch had pushed Christopher Bell into the back of Aric Almirola, who was running second. Almirola’s car lost traction as it drove over a slick, painted double line on the inside of the track. It veered into the car of Alex Bowman, who had started on the pole and was then running third.
As Harvick, the leader, sped away unscathed, a closely bunched pack of cars piled blindly into the wreckage behind him. The cars slammed into the outside retaining wall, into one another and into more danger in the infield.
The grassy infield had been turned into a muddy bog by a week of rain. Mud flew in every direction, splattering windshields, blocking drivers’ vision and coating the track with slime, worsening the melee."
I turned it off after the pile up and went back to work...
Best.
Which one is she?
Nice! Thanks for the clarification.
I bet her Dads proud of her.
Golf done the same. Target audience. Wondering when Michael J.. goes for a black jockey.
There was a really good article about this a while back. I'll see if I can find it. Historical and current.
Best.
