We call the mechanicing.
Putting a rear end in a recliner or couch.
absolutely true.
Or working from home, been working from home for 11 month now, because of this BS around us.
I agree totally. We are stocked up with food, snacks, and drinks, and we have no place to be. I can drive on ice, but most other Texicans cannot, so it's good to stay out of their way.

Ain't it the truth? Darned working from home on the phone is total PITA. My normal income cut by 60-75% because I'm not getting paid to travel. I didn't sign up for a tele-marketer job and I hate working this way. The weather related issues are less worrisome after retirement from a job that REQUIRED my presence regardless of conditions.
You have the beer fridge by the couch?......Genius!
Daily schedule for retirement:
Sleep until hungry.
Eat until sleepy.
I seem to be busier retired than I was working, and most of my working weeks went 50 to 60 hours.
Sounds like a good way to live.
I don't have any idea where I would have time to work a regular job any more.
56 more days and a house remodel.
I looked outside....it looked cold.
That is as close as I am going to get, to outside.
Been doing this since early November. On Groundhog Day I caught a glimpse of my own shadow and swear I was being haunted by Alfred Hitchcock! 😮
