I know a little about Ma. gun laws but no enough. I was contacted by a friend who lives in Ma. and is going to sell a couple from his collection. I know they have some restrictions on gun types and if they are registered in the state. The guns in question Two M1A Super Match and one Colt AR HBAR. The H Bar is from the 70s. All three legally registered in Ma and transferable within the state. My thought is that they will be worth more selling to another Ma resident. I am trying to help them get the best deal they can. What say you?

I'd say that it's a lot more difficult to sell a gun within a repressive state than sell it to someone in a free state. Probably more trouble to do the transfer paper work than simply ship to an FFL elsewhere & tell the state it's gone.
What about the hi cap mags? Can they legally be transferred within MA? Isn't 10 the current max size?
And, how do you target your for sale notice to MA residents, but avoid having a drug dealer from New Bidfid show up at your door?

I used to buy a whole lot of guns from Mass. when I was working up there. and have them shipped home. At that time only Glocks made before some magic date the state had come up with could be sold there and there was a long waiting list for used Glock pistols, and they were expensive. If those guns are the same then they should bring great money there. Talk to a gun shop you trust in mass, they will know the story.
