Not trying to drag it out but just a follow up

I posted a few days ago about a long ago buddy who passed and I am now the last of the group that ran around together more like brothers .

ok on to he follow up thru one of his family members working with my wife , I found out he went to the Doc they told him he had cancer and about six months to live . than a few days later called him back in for a meeting , told him they was a mistake he had week at the most two weeks and had called hospice for him already . a week later he passed .

I guess he did not have a lot of time to dwell on it and suffer for weeks, months, I feel bad for saying it that may be a blessing in a way , ( but I had too many friends and family strung out for months and years suffering thru it )

RIP Steve

It's hard to loose friends either way... sorry for your loss.

My condolences for your sudden loss of a friend. I lost my best gunshow buddy of many years only four days after we returned from the November 2017 Tulsa show. He was 78 with a bad heart -- dropped over dead while unloading for a small nearby show a week after Tulsa. Such losses are hard, but no one ever says, "I hope I linger for months or years in pain in a nursing home rather than dying quickly." Cherish the good days you had with your friend. Take care.
