Daffodils and Tulips, Oh my yes!! Looking out my windows at daffodils sure beats seeing snow!!!

I love flowers. Any kind of flowers! A couple of years ago I planted this special mix of daffodils and tulips. Each is a mix of bulbs that contain bulbs from the earliest to bloom to the latest to bloom with bulbs due to bloom in between so I have continuous blooms for each kind for over 60 days, so from the first daffodils to the last of the tulips is almost 90 days!!

My first daffodils started in about two weeks ago. Other daffodils are coming and the first tulips are up and about four inches high. I love flowers, I love spring and I love South Carolina!! life is GOOD!!

Glad someone is having good weather. Here in Michigan that weather is probably 8 or 9 weeks away unless we have one of those late April snow storms. Bob

P.S. I looked though all them emoji thingys and couldn't find one that was appropriate, like one blowing a raspberry. 😀

Coming up here and have been for two weeks. Almost see yellow on some.

29* and going into the teens. Tough buggers.

I prefer seeing snow in the winter, personally.

Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

I can remember loving winter, cold, snowy weather. Playing hockey, ice skating, snowshoeing, pulling a sled behind a fast horse at the end of 50 feet of rope and on and on!!

Now the only thing snow does is make it super easy for me to fall and the cold can trigger my clonus if I start shivering so I end up with the right side of my body going totally spastic. Not fun at all. But I so loved the beautiful snow fall we had a couple of weeks ago. Stood inside and thanked the Lord for allowing me to see so much beauty!!

I share Bob's Michigan winter sentiments but I do have patience for however long it takes to enjoy the beauty of Spring blooms!

Talking about hardy plants, my favorite are the many Pansy varieties that have color combinations galore! I have always claimed associating the word pansy to a weakling was a misnomer. The plant can take heavy frost and even freeze solid and will bounce back in full splendor.
