I call her RUBY and she is French. Actually made in Spain but she was with the French during WWI. All steel except for the grips and she will spit out nine 7.65 death pills as quick as the strike of a deadly serpent.

Nice and you even have a nice flapy holster for it.
Ruby looks nice.
Ruby is old
🙂🙂🙂 Heck yeah,,,
Does it pass the dishwasher test?
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Is that writing on the slide words you can use in polite society?
I suppose you found that one in your underwear drawer, too?
Careful with it. Rumor has it there might be mercury in the steel!
I used to have a MAB that was fairly cool, never saw one of these before
If the French used it then it was probably never fired and only dropped once.😄
I bet Mr Mike has one just like it.
I would worry more about the lead in the chamber.

I just love your description of it's fire power. Sounds like a line Robert Downey Jr. would have used in his Sherlock Holmes production😚
Did you take the grip screws out with your Leatherman?
Robert Downey Jr is pretty cool. He called when he was in Wilmington shooting Iron Man III and wanted to come in and shoot. Well his assistant called. He came in with the assistant and a big former SAS Trooper. Staid I think for three hours shooting all kinds of stuff. Took photos with everybody.
I hope you are into reloading, and making holsters, and making magazines....😀
Cool old weapon.
I remember seeing the Ruby-style pistols in gun periodical ads from the late '50s--early '60s. I think the French used them until after WW2.
If their shotguns are any indication, that will be a fine little pistol. A lot of really nice semi-autos came out of Europe pre-WWII.
