sometimes one bulge is too many how close to dying did this take some hotrodder.
Although always described as a cowboy, Roswellnative generally acts as a righter of wrongs or bodyguard of some sort, where he excels thanks to his resourcefulness and incredible gun prowesses.

Well it didn't blow up the first time, so let's plug the barrel and try it again!😁 Bob
It is at $531 right now. Does anyone have a clue how much money it would take to make that into a decent looking, safe shooter?? My best guess would be more than buying a mint model 29 in the first place.
My neighbor bought a similar Model 29 at a gun show last year: 6 inch bulged barrel (just a single BIG bulge) and little or no finish (lots of rust), for $400. He then sent it to S&W who replaced the barrel and factory refinished the pistol....for $600! 😪 It now looks and shoots nicely. Even so, I consider it a poor investment.
Just saw the barrel off at the first bulge. Voila!
Well if I was a gunsmith and had a .44 barrel laying around. No, I still wouldn't spend more than a couple hundred. Maybe three.
Don't drink and reload.
could a run a patch through it at least.
I got drunk at a party once, and woke up a girl like that...
..but for those reasons, I'm out
That gun has lived a rough life. I would maybe go $400 on it and replace the barrel with a 4" and shoot it.
If that gun could talk, it would be nothing but profanity.
So for my edification, looking at the bore pictures, are what looks like fish scales in the pic the bulges?
A little JB Weld and your good to go !
Yeah but one couldn't blame it for that.
It looks like someone got mad at it.
