Auction Listings End of Catalog

azmoonmanazmoonman Member Posts: 4

Hi,

Does anyone know how when you post a new listing it goes to the last page? I have been listing quite a few items recently and not a single hit. I have sold many in the past. It seems like now all of the items I put up end up on like page 12 of 13. We all know shoppers don't spend that much time on this. Any ideas?

Thanks.

How are you having the page sort the auctions?

If I do a search for .308 Ammo 80 .308 Rounds Ammo .308 Federal .308 Winchester .308 which is my actual listing it shows up. If I do say .308 ammo it doesn't.

Buyers can change the listing parameters by using the Sort By function:

My experience has been that buyers sort by price (lowest price first), or want to see those auctions ending soonest, to pick off a possible bargain. Your mileage may vary.

Pay extra when you create a listing so it will be in the "Featured" items and it will be on the first page. If you don't do this your item will come up according to time ending and will not be up at the top until its nearly over. You should also post a plug here......if you post a million plugs you will feel everyone's eyes roll who is on the boards, but just coming over and posting "check out my new auction" is something everyone likes to see here.
