Any service like that you want to set up a bank account just for it. Never leave more money in it than the minimum to do what you are doing. Draw the money out daily if needed.
I wonder if that information is hidden among several pages of fine print! Kind of like a Congressional stimulus package!
I wonder what "the following purposes" are??
I had a bidder who asked during the auction if I'd take Zelle and others even though I specified USPS M.O. I told him I wouldn't, but the clown bid anyway and won. Then asked AGAIN after he won. I looked into it, and complaints weren't hard to find. What I've seen is when there's a problem with the money getting from A to B, Zelle says the problem is with the bank, and the bank say's it's with Zelle. So your money is floating around in the ether, and nobody knows where it is or where it went. No thanks. BTW, the clown was from CA, and I had to do a NPB because the item couldn't be shipped there.
My kids use all sorts of electronic payment methods, Zelle, Venmo, Pay Pal, Etc. Seems to work OK for them, It took me a while to get used to ATMs I'll pass on the Apps for now.
Zelle is a service for transfer of money between a network of banks. It only works if both parties have banks that are part of the network, so, of course, all banks in the network need information about you. If you don't trust it, don't use. Zelle tells me to use it only if I know the other party. If you are not related to me by blood or marriage, don't ask me if you can pay for the item you bought with Zelle. Sellers decide what form of payment they will accept; if that's a problem for you, don't bid.
Paypal is related to ebay; I trust them as much as I trust Mohammed bin Salman. I use them when I have to, it is sometimes the most convenient method for me. I limit how much money I have in their bank.
Sellers set the payment rules; don't bid if you cannot comply with the seller's choice.

From Robert Heinlein's Notebooks of Lazarus Long:
Money is truthful. If a man speaks of honor, make him pay cash.
I get asked all the time if I take this.....HECK NO.
