It's being willing. I found out early that most men, regardless of cause or need, aren't willing. They blink an eye or draw a breath before they pull the trigger. I won't. ~ J.B. Books

That's a libbie for ya. Stupid individuals
Please never let facts get in the way of PROGRESS!
At $.07 per kilowatt/hour, it will generate $140 per hour. iron ore costs about $150 per ton, coal is ~$140 per ton. A fourth grader could do the math.
Liberals are too lazy to figure it out for themselves.
Installed cost is roughly $ 1,300,000.00 per mw, plus and additional $ 45,000.00 per year to operate.
Over a 10 year life, the cost of a 2MW turbine will be roughly $ 3,050,000.00, depending upon location, etc.
At $ .07 per kw hour, and assuming the generally accepted usage of capacity at 40%, the 2 MW turbine throws off $56.00 per hour on average.
In 10 years there are 87,648 hours (assume 2 leap days), so the turbine will generate (pun intended) $ 4.9 million in revenue over that 10 years.
I am not a fourth grader, nor am I a liberal, but I do not see a slam dunk plus or minus regarding the math.
Depending upon how you look at it, the turbine owner is getting roughly a 6% annual return over the 10 year life of the machine. If 10 year treasuries were paying that, I would be all in.

Don't forget the carbon generated from the mining, smelting and casting Is all generated now instead of relatively slowly over the years from power generation. Bob
Well we are going to have to invent electricity from those children hanging those pinwheels out the windows of all of those electric cars.
