Will the stock from a Winchester model 88 .308 post 64 fit a post 64 .284 ? Any info is always appreciated. Terrill

Everything before serial number 82.900 the same, after that, different, but I can't tell what the difference was.
Not sure, but I think I have one, but I wouldnt know what to look for?
