hello, i work for an ffl who keeps telling people the FN owns taurus? now. i dont see, nor can i find any proof of this! just like when he he said that S&W owned walther? i called, they do not! please let me know, thanks

    At one time S&W did build some guns under an agreement with the old Walther and I think Umerex, the air gun company owns Walther now. I don't remember FN having anything to do with Taurus. You can hear all kinds of "FACTS" in a gun shop.

    Taurus is a wholly owned subsidiary of Taurus Armas S.A, who also own the Rossi brand name. Smith and Wesson was the distributor of Walther firearms in the USA, but no more. Walther is owned by the PW Group, who also own Umarex.

    FN does not own Taurus however they do own Browning and Winchester.
