I have never seen a Colt with those factory grips or in 32 S&W.
And it belonged to Mel Torme.

It is kinda prudy....
Something like less than 20 made in .32 S&W, should be going for twice what it's at now.
Are you sure it's 32 S&W and not 32-20 WCF? (I know it's not your listing)
Edit: Went back and looked at the 'letter'. 32 S&W it is.
I have always liked and respected Mel. And now even more so. What a neat gun!
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Memories of that old TV show "Night Court" and judge Harry Stones love of Mel Torme and his great dislike of Barry Manilow! 😁
Mel even made it as a guest a couple of times IMMIC and of coarse he was also a regular on Ed Sullivan. He was very much into our favorite gun related pastimes and had quite a nice collection as did many other well known celebrities.
Celebrity firearms do well .
honestly I had no idea who he was until " night court " and Harrys constant talking about him but at the time Marke Post had my attention
but good to know he was one of the good fellows in the entertainment industry
