Did Remington manufacture a bolt action 22 magnum, and if so what was the model?
Comments
I know of two - model 5 and the model 547. Bob
found a 547 895236868 bit pricey. looks like a 591 barreled to 22 magnum and custom stock.
No information found on the model 5 in 22 magnum. Only 22 lr.
Thanks for the input.
The model 5 was made by Zastava in Serbia and imported by Remington. It is no longer imported but was a nice shooting rifle. So i guess technically it doesn't fit your criteria of manufactured by Remington. Remington did make the stocks though the barreled action was Zastava. Bob
Thanks. the only one I know about was a rechambered 510.
If you can’t find a Remington, look at the mossburg 640K. They called them the chuckster’s.
