my cousing knew I was looking for a crossbow and friend of his, turns out I knew years ago, grandson was wanting to get rid of his. He is now working in the oil and gas industry and hardly has any time off, hasn't hunted in last two years, and can now afford about any crossbow he wants. he had a barnett raptor fx ?? I think it is and his granddad brought it over about noon, got it, and 4 arrows, field points and razor points, scope, the rope to cock it and he brought back a used target about an hour later!! all for $200.

just got done shooting it, at 10 yards was about 2 inches high and left first two shots, got it over to the right but left it high just to see what it would do at 20 yards. moved it out in the yard a little more and was still about 2 inches high and got range finder out it was 23 yards. by chance went and weighed the field tips they were 100 grains, the razor blades are 125 grains and I am guessing that is what the scope was sighted for so I left it high figuring it will drop with the 125 grain tips. His grandpa also took it to a local bow shop and had a new string put on it and had it checked before he offered it to me! told my to try it out wouldn't even take any money said I could pay him later. going to the shop tomorrow and get some 125 grain field points and use them for practice and am gonna fine my friend and make sure he was right on the price and give him the money before he changes his mind.........
