Bob Allen top shot rifleman's glove

golferboy426golferboy426 Member Posts: 969 ✭✭✭

Anyone ever use one and why? I have a brand new on from dad's stuff. Evidently it prevents forend slip as the gun is fired ? It is heavy leather suede with al;l the finger/thumb holes cut. Very well made but Ican't imagine how helpful it is. Any comments? Maybe helpful for long sessions or very large bore rifles. I'm curious

It is to cushion the supporting hand in position firing. It keeps the tight sling from

cutting into the hand and may help pulse from being transferred into the rifle

    causing movement.
