Suspicious or am I paranoid
I somewhat hastily bit on a buy it now option for a new ZEV OZ9 for $2100.00 I did this around 9:00AM this morning.
Once I committed, I noticed the seller only has one feedback. That feedback is from an item sold 3/30 (yesterday). The user who left the feedback only had 2 feedbacks himself... and that user is already listed as "No longer a registered user of gunbroker"
The selller wants pay pay or money order Definitely would not have bid had I caught that earlier. However, I will do that if I can confirm the guy is legit.
Also, the seller's business is listed as an "Oil Corporation"
Googled they guy and his business info is in Kansas and somewhat easy to find. The auction says Austin.
The phone number rings with no answer and a voicemail that is not setup.
His email address seems odd.. xxx_xxxx@mail.com (leaving the username blank for now. I sent an email stating I want to speak with him prior to pay pal, left my number in the email.
I have also sent similar messages via the gunbroker messaging.
Question: Something seems off IMO. Not sure if this is a scam?? Any advice or suggestions?
I'm somewhat new to GB as a buyer. i usually pay CC as soon as I win or buy now.
Thnx

If I was not clear, I have not heard back from the seller. Also Pay Pal (Jot pay pay as I type-o's above.
RUN FOREST RUN 😁 not legal advise JMHO
it may be legit every one has to start somewhere
I will add do not use PP they hate guns and there fine print no firearm or related transactions and will lock accounts in a heartbeat with all money involved also locked up
thanks. I read that. However it appears this is a scam. The person emailed me back and has no idea about his info being used to sell here. I am texting with him how to confirm.
I read and knew the 5 day rule.. there were just so many oddities.. threw a red flag...
Once I 100% confirm, I will report and post details and user and auctions he has up.
so. I get one email from the email address listed in the contact info asking "who are you and what is going on"
a few min ago. I get a gun broker message from "seller" -- BEGIN MESSAGE FROM USER--
