I just read that the chicoms are readying for a confrontation with the US and Japan over the Taiwan straights. They are conducting recon flights and readying plans to cut off Taiwan in case of a confrontation.
The Russians are moving armored vehicles by train toward Ukraine. The Russians could be renewing their offensive against Ukraine this summer. The Russians have moved so much equipment that it had disrupted the movement by train of farm equipment into the area.
Meanwhile the US military is preparing to allow transvestites into the military as long as they enlist as the sex they identify as.

How is this going to improve the lethality of our military.
That is the the only question that should be asked/answered when changing policy's.
I've been reading about the different countries taking aggressive stances since the leadership here has changed. The Russians know with the current administration China is going to keep us busy so they can do what they want. They will probably offer to help us contain China if we don't interfere with their other business.
In the meantime there is a campaign to bring forth the softer side of our military.
I have employees in Taiwan & Japan and have not received any security guidance from Dept of State saying the risk of their safety has increased for either country.
