Corporations "punishing" Georgia over new voter law.

Very concerned over the number of US corporations that will, in some way, punish the state of Georgia for having the nerve to make their elections free of fraud. I guess asking someone to prove who they are to be able to vote is just too much for these companies. We are rapidly going down the drain as a country.

Delta, American Express, Home Depot, Citi-Bank, Bank of America, Coke, Porshe, Mercedes-Benz and many more published statements that they believed the recently signed Georgia voting security laws were designed to disenfranchise minorities.

Major U.S. companies take aim at Georgia's new voting restrictions

    https://www.cnbc.com/2021/03/31/major-us-companies-take-aim-at-georgias-new-voting-restrictions.html

Business executives across the United States are calling out efforts to restrict voting access.

This is becoming something about which we should be greatly concerned.

I'm not big on boycotts, but those on this list will be the last to get my business when there are options.

Texas is right behind Georgia and The Socialist Democrats are realty riled about it calling it Jim Crow laws reinvented ! It's all racism with white privilege they say! Can I get a free pizza at the drive in voting polling place? I bet the supreme court will suspend all of this eventually for The Democrats to bring us into The NWO.

One measure would eliminate drive-thru voting, which more than 127,000 people around Houston used during early voting last year. More than half of those voters were Black, Latino or Asian, said Democratic state Sen. Carol Alvarado.

"Hearing all of that, who are you really targeting when you're trying to get rid of drive-thru voting?" she said.

Republicans rejected accusations that the bill was designed to suppress turnout.

    How stupid is Carol Alvarado?

Houston is 24.4% non-Hispanic white. The ethnic groups she is citing make up over 70% of Houston's population.

If 70%+ of the people using this service were Black, Latino, or Asian, it would be a sign that it impacts all races equally.

If only half of the people using this service were Black, Latino, or Asian, it would be a sign that the law is targeted to suppress the non-Hispanic white vote.

Hearing all of that, Ms. Alvarado, tells me you are an idiot or that you assume your constituents to be idiots.

We are being flooded daily with half-truths, distortions, and out-right lies from elected officials and from major media outlets. I implore all of you to think critically about everything you read or hear, regardless of whether it comes from a Democrat, a Republican, or someone who pretends to be above the fray.

We are all susceptible to falling into the trap of believing that which we want to believe. We cannot lose track of the fact that we are facing a consolidation of power today at some level whereby activist fascists on the left are conspiring with politicians on the left and are strong arming corporations and individuals to fall into line with beliefs systems that are antithetical to what made and make our country the best place to be on this planet.

If we let this happen, we are condemning our progeny to generations of living lives most of us would abhor.

Please stand for your beliefs. Even if it brings you pain and loss.

Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.

Can't even remeber the last time I flew on Delta or if I have ever flew on them. Makes me feel good to not having supported them.

Forum members remain easily impressed. I am less so. Although this law is a nice gesture, it doesn't switch the state's 16 electoral votes to Trump, or make even one of the two Democratic senators Georgia elected a Republican. Georgia, like Virginia, is an example of a Blue state masquerading as (still being) Red.

No it doesn't. But maybe it prevents the state's 16 electoral votes going to Biden in 2024.

I prefer to think it's an example of a red state that's tired of being P-P-People afraid to stand up for themselves.

But that could just be wishful thinking on my part.

Georgia should next pass a law making it illegal to require an ID to fly, open any kind of bank account, apply for a credit card, buy an automobile, etc, because requiring an ID also disenfranchises minorities from these activities. You know they would scream bloody murder.

Soon to be the same in Texas and if The Democrats do away with the 60 vote majority rule to pass legislation than democracy is doomed in this country. They already use the nuclear options on 1.9 trillion dollar stimulus with V.P. breaking a tie vote which only going to help shove it that way for them.

When you have absolute power it corrupts absolutely even The Republicans wanted it when they had the narrow majority in the last administration.

Many Democrats, including me, might resist anything that helps President Donald Trump and his GOP congressional majority. Yet as a scholar of the Senate and advocate of responsible government, I believe the end of the 60-vote Senate would nonetheless be a good thing for the country – and conform to what the founders intended.

Serf, I find it hard to believe you ID yourself as a DEMOCRAT as much as you rant about the NWO. The DEMOCRAT party has been a Trojan horse for the NWO for years now. Cant begin to mention numerous examples of evidence pointing to my conclusion but will start with Paris Climate accord, cap & Trade, open borders, stance on guns etc, etc.........

Try flying, getting a CC, or simply walking into coke headquarters, or buying a ticket and going to a MLB game WITHOUT a photo ID. You will be able to do NONE of the above. These companies KNOW that is a double standard, but they caved to the BLM crew(and all the racist "reverends" in the country.

I hope the finally pay a price for this hypocrisy! They know the right will NOT unite and boycott like the left will. Squeaky wheel gets the grease, but the nail that sticks out gets the hammer. Hopefully the hammer will finally fall this time!

With the rigged two party system I considered myself an independent,Like I said before here that the voters run to one side or the other and either get free social services for the poor middle class with tax increases and the other time tax cuts for big businesses and a larger military.

In both cases tremendous debt is added to U.S.debt ledger and The Federal Reserve manipulates the system with their shell games and phony interest rates. I think I lean to the Ron Paul libertarian views in many ways however. But not abortion on demand or illegal drug use.

Delta Airlines demands a photo ID when you go to the counter prior to a flight. TSA demands a photo ID to let you through a security checkpoint.

Now both Delta and the head of the Federal Government that oversees the TSA are saying that demanding photo IDs are discriminatory and racist?

What they are saying is that is more important to have secure airplanes and airports than it is to have secure elections.

What this means is that they do not want to control who votes, how votes are secured and tracked and whether they even come close to the actual person who is purported to have signed the ballot.

There is even talk that the PGA of America is being pressured to move The Masters tournament from Georgia. That would be like moving the Daytona 500 from Daytona.

We the People need to stand up to this highly vocal minority that is pushing our country over a cliff.

Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.

Problem is, the Right NEVER stand TOGETHER and show a unified front. The Left will stick together even when they KNOW they are wrong. Companies will cave to the ones who stick together. HOPEFULLY the Right will wake up this time. We need to use their own tools against them!
