For the past 40 years I have tried to fish in some form on Good Friday. I missed one year due to a death in the family. It has always been an opportunity to be alone and consider the meaning of the day and reflect on what that means to me and my life....I have fished when there was still ice on the water, in snow storms and a lot of beautiful days too..
This year was sunny and windy.....I was only out for an hour but managed to catch a dozen of these little guys on an ultralight......I ran out of time due to other obligations during the day...

Errands and yard work. No wind though. Yours sounds better.
Nice looking little fellow. Good for you to have a tradition on such a day. Yard work is my calling today among other "chores." Being good Saturday, the yard and weeds beckon my call to mow and spray.😐️
