Its a Beginning, First waterfall trip since surgery-Pics

Two months ago I was in the ICU having my Gullet replaced with my stomach. My stamina isn't anywhere near what it was pre cancer but we are having fun and I'm looking forward to many more trips ahead.

First stop was Whitewater Falls on SC/NC border can't get pic to turn correctly but here is a shot from the overlook.

Here is Silver Run Falls right outside of Cashiers NC, a real gem easy to get to down a graveled path and it would make a great swimming hole if we get more global warming action.

We spent a little time in Bryson NC where the Great Smoky Railroad operates

Next is Toxaway falls a huge boulder of a falls, we didn't get around to the drop side for photos but it is worth stopping at the little cafe and eating on the deck to view it.

Stopped off in Brevard in Transylvania county NC home of the white Squirrels

Crossed into South Carolina for Pigpen and Licklock falls , this got a little tricky since we expected 2 miles nad ended up doing 4.

Then we went to Station Cove Falls , absolutely beautiful waterfall, one of my favorite.

Bushed but had a great time and found out I can do 4 miles in one trip.

Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!
