    Big loss for Feudalism.

    I agree @Warbirds.

Not everyone was a fan, including me. I dislike the British "royals" about as much as I dislike commies.

    Here is one opinion:

    C&P

BBC’s transparent attempt at whitewashing notwithstanding, Prince Philip’s racism is actually quite priceless because it comes so naturally to him. He is not faking it. He is not trying to offend anyone. He is offensive. This is he. This is who he is – and the long panoply of his racist, sexist, elitist, misogynistic, class-privileged and unhinged prejudices is a mobile museum of European bigotry on display.

The Duke of Edinburgh has done the world an extraordinary service by being who he is, by staging generous servings of his bigoted disposition and he is retiring happily with having catalogued all or at least most of his priceless inventory for posterity to read and learn.

Our dearly beloved Duke of Edinburgh is blissfully old. He has lived a long, rich, and fulfilling life – and may he live the rest of his racist days with the dignity and poise that he has denied others. His xenophobic bigotry is pure, his sense of class entitlement undiluted, unencumbered, uncensored, liberated from any inkling of bourgeois inhibitions. He does not mean to be offensive. He just is. He is a walking embodiment of every layered lava of European racism summed up inside one royal head.

Today people of the privileged class have learned how to camouflage their racism in varied codes and convoluted bourgeois euphemism. The kind of bigotry that Prince Philip exudes and stages is now considered rude and vulgar, old-fashioned and outmoded, presumed classed and pointed at the lower social strata. The precious advantage of Prince Philip is that he is a royal from the heart of British (and European) aristocracy. He tells it as he sees it fit.

I have big ears. Does that mean I'm in line for the throne??

I'd be happy to carry on the centuries old tradition of fleecing the british empire and it's subjects.

    Arrivederci gigi

never followed the royal family so no way to make a comment on his life but thank him for his service in the military

JHMO its hard for me to understand how even now they ( UK ) still allows there money to go to a family that has ruled over them for generations .. good thing they do not have the BLM and erase history groups and demanding reoperations

however the subjects should have reclaimed all the land property and wealth accumulated at the expense of the commoner's many many years ago

    let them eat cake

    this also come to mind

I read a while back where the royal family gets .10 cents for each gallon of gasoline BP sells world-wide.....that's a real sweetheart deal only they could pull off so every time you stop at a BP sign remember that little tid-bit.

Prince Philip? Never heard of her.

I stopped caring about British Royals in 1776.

Yrs ago a fellow employee bought a new Monte Carlo. He parked it right up front. So I spent a half a day making a front license plate that said King Bob. He drove around for days until he realized who made it.

I feel no warmth for the British royals, but I can't help but respect the fact that the male royals feel an obligation to perform military service. We, on the other hand, are on our 3rd straight draft dodger.

Don't know but IF you watch or listen for two minutes any fake media that is all about Megan not going and how dramatic it is for the skank to not go, ect. ect. ect.

  • Sam06Sam06 Member Posts: 21,244 ✭✭✭✭

Oh I know @Grasshopper . They are also talking about how Harry has to crawl back to old England and face the family. I just read that he will not be in uniform because when he quit they took all his titles and honors in the military away.
