Lots of yard work to do but since it keeps raining I just can not get enough dry time to accomplish what I need to do. As I never miss a chance to fish or scout for upcoming hunting seasons I took advantage of the dry time in between storms......The yard can wait until next week 😎

It was a good week...what have you been up to....share a pic of two !!!!

A few pics from my outings:

Caught a bunch of these, nothing big but fun....

I found the remains of this shed...it must have been out there for a couple years anyway....the brow tine was gone as were the the G2 and G3...Not what I hoped to find but hey it is a shed !!!

I hit a small lake way off the beaten track and when I got there at least 50 ducks took off and circled the area until they finally settled back in at the far side of the place...

A Blue Jay hung out near me and posed for this shot...

I never thought much of Blue Jays until they disappeared after that bird flu thing took out the Blue Jays and the Mockingbirds in this area. I have found out that I really missed all that noise and flashes of blue in my cedar trees once the Blue Jays came back!!

There is a Mockingbird that perches right over my rabbitry and sings his heart out while I'm outside doing my bunny chores. I often pause, close my eyes and just listen to the Lord speaking to me through those wonderful songs!! I'm so glad both types of birds are back again!!

Put together these two raised beds and planted some veggies, now working on the kitchen sink faucet that broke, sound like you had a better week.

Blue Jays are back, enjoying the racket. Most of the Bluebirds were decimated when we hit -2 degrees for 2 days in February. Neighbor found 7 dead in his barn, none building in our nest boxes.

I have always been amazed at how many "songs" a blue jay puts out! They can sing the most beautiful sound as well as the most annoying noises to the human ear!

"I have always been amazed at how many "songs" a blue jay puts out!"........................I have been 'amazed' at how big a 'puff' of blue feathers they made when hit by a .223 😏
