I got new gun!

Well, today I went and shot what is more than likely my last match with the local Defensive Pistol club. I've been with these folks for the last 15 years and everyone there knows I'm a big Glock fan. For a 'happy retirement and going away' present they went in together and purchased a 1st Generation Glock 24 and presented it to me this morning prior to the start of the shoot.

Those of you not familiar with Glocks may not have even heard of the 24. It's a looong slide 40 caliber with a factory extended mag release, slide release, and 3.5 lb. connector.

I was totally blown away by this incredibly generous gift and never in my wildest dreams would have thought something like this would be done.

It has been an honor and a privilege to have shot with these folks the last 15 years. I am truly blessed.
