But with time and patience the new listing platform is growing on me. It's well thought out, intuitive and in the long run as soon as I can get my old brain into a new groove, it will save time. The new picture listing is a extremely nice!👍️
Well done GB tech!

We're done with the sales tax discussion- more than done. All of the repetitive posts on that subject were removed from this thread. Move on.
What? No one has anything to say except for those with an unquenchable desire to repeat the same thing (sales taxes) which has been dragged out in this forum for months on end?
I'm bored with this endlessly repetitive content. I want to hear something new in these forums.
taxes and shipping cost are a way of life
I'm not old and I hate most things.
Not sure what I'm missing here... The OP seems to be a compliment to GB and then mark christian is discussing sale tax... I'm kinda old and don't enjoy change but I do adapt as change is inevitable. Anyways this post and thread is confusing...
Read that post and tell me what you think it means?
I think it means you changed something, Mark.
I am old and hate change, but do not hate the changes you have made to this thread.

Got me some of that change yesterday. Bought some LED lights for the house. They even have some kind of built in battery that the light will work if the power goes out.
Thank you, Don. Much like members who insist hijacking threads and using them to make political statements, we had some members who took it upon themselves last night to use this thread regarding the new auction format to make, yet another, issue out of sales taxes. In point of fact, one of those members has said nothing in this forum other than issues about sales taxes. There were no questions, there were only statements made about Gun Broker and all of those statements were removed.
We've had four months of sales tax complaints in this forum, and to the best of knowledge Gun Broker has not rescinded their sales tax policy- in fact, it now encompasses nearly every state. Deal with it outside of this forum.
mark christian my apologies Mark, my older eyes missed the "were removed from this thread" portion and that was why I was confused. I never saw the post before your edit and I agree that when the horse is dead we need to quit beating it. Keep up the good work you and the other mods do.
May I ask ,with respect to the rules and edicts of the Owners and moderators, of which I was once was. How is it conducive to gaining more contributing forum members, more auction traffic and business for GB Auctions Inc, if we ban topics or discussions the new guys have no way of knowing about the banning?
If GB decides riots, BLM, Auction Issues, Sales tax issues, scams, COVID19, Issues with NPB'ers, Fee refunds, fake sellers and rip off sellers/buyers how can the new guys even hope to learn the ropes???
just curious...
I apologize if I was misunderstood, I was referring to the new auction listing platform only. Sales tax, eBay and Facebook comparisons were not a part of what I was talking about.
Alright, since you were a moderator- before you quit, you have certainly read the posting guidelines. For the next five minutes, you now have my job as an admin. Read the highlighted area of the Gun Broker posting guidelines and tell me what it means regarding auction issues in the forums?
Regarding fake sellers, scams and rip offs; one of our members wrote and excellent thread on that subject, which I made a stickie and encouraged other members to contribute to:

BLM is a political issue, which means it belongs in the Political Forum. As for discussions of riots, insurrections and other disturbances: word came down from GBHQ on how to deal with those issues in these forums. Had you not quit, you would have been included in the moderator group and been in the loop with HQ. You chose to leave the staff, which means you're excluded...live with it.
Okay, Five Minute Admin. You tell me how the forum should be run.....
....when was the "you must have a credit card on file "become law in order to bid?....
