stick this in your plastic pipe and smoke it
hydrolic shock from displacement , it penetrates... and dumps energy in the target
oh, I bet it will run in that ole 1911 without hollow point hang up
keep your eye on these poly & copper beauties
Although always described as a cowboy, Roswellnative generally acts as a righter of wrongs or bodyguard of some sort, where he excels thanks to his resourcefulness and incredible gun prowesses.

$3.50 per round for 9mm?? Sorry, I am going to have to stick with the old school 124 gr +P Gold Dots. It is an interesting round though.
If I ever have to shoot someone the testimony will go as follows... Sir you used some kind of fancy 135 gr.Hornady plastic tip +P 9mm ammunition that looks deadly.... Well Yes I did... The same stuff the FBI uses in their guns.
I am in favor of a heavier bullet than their all copper loads. This new one from Winchester looks interesting;

Until there is more experience with it out in the real world, I too will probably stick with the Gold Dots. Bob
Not for me.

Now I know what to use if I ever need to defend myself from a block of gelatin.
How about, "Sir I didn't want them to suffer."
Ricci.Wright $3.92 a round if paying taxes and using a credit card to have shipped to Texas.... I'll just use a couple of my cheaper rounds thank you.
When fastening two boards together, I can either...
use one hand machined brass wood screw with tapered shaft, sharp threads and a carefully machined phillips head
-or-
use a handful of drywall screws.
Guess which one I go for?
124 grain GoldDots(don't even need to be +P) will handle anything a 9mm is suitable for.
if you were born before 1965, stop reading right here, but if you have an open mind, consider Glocks OK, and don’t have socks older than the president ...
i know the price now is high, but the concept will change ammo, I have bought some ArX ( the polymer and copper sort of high pressure combo) , and in my 38 they are ready for testimony...
i have shot some and the big difference in felt recoil was pretty amazing vs gold dot out of a snub
The nice thing about these rounds (if there is anything nice to say about them) is that you get the penetration of a FMJ in concealment/barriers and you get the expanded wound cavity of HP ammo in soft tissue.
It's also an over penetration issue in home defense, so it's not ideal for that use case, where HP ammo is superior, IMO.

...Carried a Colt Commander 45acp over 20 years...the mag is loaded with a mix of rounds. What if the shooter is shooting from inside a vehicle? What if the shooter is shooting in the dead of winter with several layers of heavy clothing on?...etc., etc... I do not want myself, or family at a disadvantage
...Commander mag is loaded with Hydra Shok, soft points, and solids...car doors, walls, layers of clothing....no problem...I will empty the mag and hopefully be alive to worry about any possible implications later...😉
