I made some sandwiches, cut up some fruit and cheese and added some chips and drinks for a nice picnic supper. We packed up and head to the back end of a large conservation area and drove and walked around. We only saw one other soul the whole evening. Lots of wildlife including deer, turkeys, quail, buzzards, bunnies and lots of birds. The trees are budding and everything is nice and green.....
It rained on us twice and the rainbows were beautiful. Nice way to spend a Saturday evening...
The creek was up a little....
One of two Turkeys we saw...
We found a small cemetery on the way home....interesting little plot with 30 odd graves. Most were unmarked but were mainly kin of this gentleman...

Nice. Wonderful way to spend a Saturday.
Don't get much better than that
Enjoy every minute of it while you can.
My wife and I spent over a half century joy ridding every chance we got. What we wouldn't give to have just one more of those days today.
We just talked about that today. Wishing we could go ridding through the Smoky's or to the beach in our convertible or on our motorcycle like we used to do from 1967 to 2019.
We drove the back roads in this country from coast to coast 4 times, up down and diagally from top to bottom just looking with no piticular place to have to be.
Now this disease from hell has her bedridden and us praying for a miracle or for just one day without this god forsaken pain!
Great photos!
