Cop fired for "Anonymous" Donation

Maybe if all donations to anything fell off by 100% some common sense might prevail, I guess using his work Email is how they justified it? Perhaps an audit of all Norfolk employees emails is in order?

Why don't we go to school and work on the weekends and take the week off!

Reading the article, he used his work email when making the donation. If people need to understand one thing that is anything done on a company/goverment computer is not private. In fact most entities has a very clear policy of not using work computers for personal use.

Wihtin the last two years there have been two city employees locally that were fired for using their work computer for personal use. Easy to use violation of policy to fire someone. In fact one employee appealed and lost.

Hard to believe he worked in Internal Affairs and did not know about policy.

Always remember the E in Email stands for Evidence.
